In a recent interview, Square Enix president Yoichi Wad revealed that while Japan will receive FFXIII in 2009, overseas fans will have to wait until at least April 2010.

At E3, Square Enix announced that it would be bringing FF XIII to the Xbox 360, but at its DK Sigma3173 event, series director Motomu Toriyama revealed that development has not started yet, as the team has yet to receive any debug units. PS3 fans will be able to try out a quite large demo in March 2009 on a bonus demo disc that will come with the Blu-ray release of FF VII: Advent Children.
