Ubi Soft today announced a licensing agreement with Eidos for Tomb Raider on Game Boy ® Advance. With the new two-year agreement, Ubi Soft acquires exclusive worldwide development and publishing rights for 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy' for the Game Boy Advance. The game will be released this Christmas.

Eidos Interactive, a leading developer and publisher of interactive entertainment, today announced that DX2: Invisible War is currently in development for the Xbox. This follow-up release to Deus Ex is being developed by Ion Storm, creators of the original game, and is slated to arrive in stores in 2003. We also scored some Lara Croft screens (and some game info for the PC/PS2 versions) and Virtual Resort: Spring Break for the PC. Enjoy the screens!

Lara Croft, who has dazzled and beguiled audiences in six episodes of Tomb Raider, one of the world's bestselling game franchises, now has the representation to accompany her star power: a Hollywood agent. Eidos Interactive and Core Design, the publisher and developer of the blockbuster game series, announced today that Croft has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world's leading talent and literary agency. Croft's next starring role is in "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness," to be released by Eidos exclusively on the Sony PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system in winter 2002.

Eidos Interactive and Core Design announced today that Lara Croft, character of one of the $1 billion dollar game franchise, will mark her public debut at the upcoming E3 in Los Angeles on May 22. Croft, who has previously been portrayed by models Rhona Mitra, Nell McAndrew, Lara Weller, Lucy Clarkson, Jill de Jong and actress Angelina Jolie, will make several appearances on the expo floor answering questions from the audience and talking about her newest adventure "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness."

The original Lara Croft outfit, one of the rarest and most desirable items in video game history, is up for sale on eBay.co.uk. Donated by Eidos Interactive, the world exclusive sale runs from 26th April and will last for 10 days. All proceeds from the auction will go to UNICEF, United Nations Children’s Fund.
