Directly inspired by the upcoming animated film of the same name, Arthur and the Minimoys is currently in development for PlayStation®2, PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) system, Nintendo DS®, Game Boy Advance, and the Windows platform, and is planned for a simultaneous release with the film in January 2007. The game allows players to relive the fantastic adventures of young Arthur and his two pals, Selenia and Bétamèche, in their mission to save the Minimoys’ world from destruction. The game will incorporate filmmaker Luc Besson’s entire Minimoy universe and its tiny inhabitants with the richness and extraordinary visuals of the film.

Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics brings the excitement of D&D to the PSP system for the first time! Today Ubisoft announced that it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Taito to publish and distribute three of its titles in 2006. The first title to be released by Ubisoft will be Exit, a puzzle action game for people of all ages, exclusively for the PSP system in February.

Reuters is reporting that Sony is on track to double the number of PSP's sold in North America to around 6 million at the end of its first holiday season this year. Although nowhere near the appeal of Apple's iPods, the paperback-sized video game device has increasingly won over movie fans, citing its long load times and akward mini joystick as drawbacks.

Blade Dancer is a new Japanese 3D RPG, under development over at Sony, situated on a mysterious island, and has you play as a young hero Shane. While details are still slim, the game will have a crafting system where you can combine items to create your own unique objects, as well as a 4 player lan and online multiplayer.
