EA announced that is has more than 30 games in development for the PS3, and when the system launches in November, it will deliver some of its most popular game franchises including Madden NFL 07, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07 and NfS Carbon. Gears of War will not be released in Germany, due to the ratings board refusing to assign a rating to the game. Microsoft considered developing a version that could obtain a rating and therefore be eligible for store placement and advertisement; however, this would have been incompatible with other versions when playing on Xbox Live, so the idea was scrapped altogether. As the title won't be seeing a release in Germany, interested gamers will have to import their copies from the UK or Austria (
