Wow, sweltering hot indeed. We've had one of the coldest summers on record, but our fall started off scorching hot. It was bearable until shortly in the afternoon, but then the sun started beating down on the office. We're surrounded by an army of computers, so there's not much that can be done to keep things cool — aside from drink a lot of ice-cold beer. :)
Last night, we watched NCIS (hate the Los Angeles spin-off) and Bones, but with a multitiude of shows recording as we were watching, we fell even further behind. We're going to have to step it up!

We've been playing some more Vindictus, and we're really enjoying ourselves. Managed to get some old CrimeCraft gang members over there, so we're having a good old time. Next week, I'll have to take a break from all the hack 'n' slashing to chainsaw me some zombies when Dead Rising 2 arrives.

We've been playing Puzzle Quest 2 most of the day (while Adam is off doing some actual work over at Activision and Microsoft). While we did not enjoy Galactrix as much as its predecessor, this official sequel is much better than we anticipated.
Still banned from CrimeCraft, so Global Agenda and APB will have to do until the aforementioned matter gets resolved.

Wow, that was one loud concert! My ears are still ringing, and I was even wearing earplugs to muffle the sound a bit. The gig was great, though. Lots of the new songs but also several Guns N' Roses ones and a few from Velvet Revolver. The vocalist
Myles Kennedy was damn good, and if Slash only owned the GN'R material/band, that guy would even be a fitting replacement for
Axl Rose. Surprisingly enough, the opening act,
Taking Dawn, was rather engaging and made quite a valiant effort to warm us up for the main course.
Prior to going to the concert, we watched Burn Notice (good) and The Bounty Hunter (entertaining).
