NWOmapping asked Jimbo from Termite Games a few questions wether there will be any demo and/or map building tools for the soon to be released game, New World Order. Here is the full clip:

We're discussing the demo, but I cannot say when right now - just that it's on our minds.

The NWO betas where resource hogs when more than 7-8 players joined, because animation code and many other things were still in Beta and were running slow - that in combination with network bugs screwed things up. These things have been fixed now.

The map building info and tools will be released as a separate download after the game has shown up in stores. It's going to be very interesting to see what people can do with our tools - it's not as easy to build for NWO as for a game with a complete editor, it's more to-the-metal with NWO. That will however give the really dedicated and talented a chance to show what they can do.

We're also very much dedicated to jumping straight on any problems that show up, and if there are no problems we're still going to release upgrades to improve and tweak NWO to a monster. /Jimbo

Dutch publisher Project Three Interactive today announced its upcoming tactical first person shooter New World Order has gone gold last weekend. The highly anticipated counter terrorist combat game developed by Swedish development studio Termite Games will show up on European shelves by mid November with other territories to follow shortly after.

We just got informed that New World Order, the tactical FPS in development at Termite Games will be GOLD next week and is scheduled for a November 15th release in Europe and Asia, while US date is set in January 2003. It is a fast paced action-simulator with attitude, switching between stealthy game play and adrenalin-pumping action, always keeping the player on his toes - never knowing when all hell will break lose"

Yesterday Project Three announced the release of the New World Order public multiplayer beta-test version 2.0, that is a much-improved version of the original public MP beta-test, which was released at June 1st. Today we installed the game and fired of some screens from the single player mode, just to show you how good looking this game is " i'm looking forward for the final *G* ". Termite Games and Project 3 Interactive have been working around the clock for these last 4 weeks to fix and upgrade the released multiplayer test of New World Order. The list of fixes span several pages and they will make them public upon release of the next Multi Player test. There were several serious issues with the previous MP test that kept people from playing it over the net, especially those who were running the Windows 95/98/ME platforms. They have also had to deal with some serious lag problems but these problems are now behind them. Find out more about NWO at their official forum!

Player of Games tossed up a statement from Project Three Interactive and lead programmer Jim Malmros about the beta release of New World Order. Malmros: "We are aware there have been problems with the beta. Don't despair though, there are 5 main issues that cause 90% of the problems and we're all over them.

UPDATE: Jimbo from Terminate Games released some good news today, master-server has now been fixed, they are completing an update to the test and much more. Read more below!

Believe it or not but Project3 FINALLY has released their multiplayer demo for their "eagerly" anticipated New World Order first person shooter. I'm downloading it as we speak .. read more for links where ot grab it as i'll be addin links as we cruise along ...

Project Three Interactives Forum has today been updated with the word from Jimbo at Termite Games, that the MP demo of New World Order will be available for download later this week. I have to say that Doom3 looks very very good! Definitely impressive. I think NWO will be to multiplayer what Doom3 will be for singleplayer. Ofcourse, our next singleplayer project is going to surpass Doom3 by far though. ;)

Well its better than nothing ... The long promised demo isn't available yet or should we say STILL not, but at least we can now drool over a 2min divx "New World Order movie" with some in-game footage. For the few people out there who have no idea what NWO is about, its a first person shooter developed by Termite Games/Project3. It is commonly said to be the only game being a TRUE Counter Strike killer (thanks blues).

A week ago we had a little coverage on the NWO's progress and specifically the highly anticipated MultiPlayer Test Termite and Project3 are planning to release. Last week Jim Malmros said they "hoped" to announce a release date 'end of the month', which just happens to be today... Read on to find out more and check some new screens.

Right now the game devs' is counting down for the release of the public multiplayer beta, the final release is just a couple of months away…so.. It seems that somebody angry with the delay surrounding the New World Order MP demo tried (and succeeded) to fool people by hacking into the NWO Forum and posted a msg under one of the P3/Termite Games admins stating we could expect the demo today at 6pm. After other admins read about this they dug up the logs/ips and found the culprit.. alas.. the demo is NOT released nor is a new date given. SOB!

After having to cancel the public demo a few minutes before release time, Termite Games and Project Three finally announced a new release date .. unless this is a sick April Fools Day joke the demo should be out April 2nd at 6pm Euro time (aprox noon EST). It'll be aprox 140 megs and the bug that caused the delay last week has been eradicated ... We'll know more tomorrow i guess ;)

Project Three this morning announced it has halted the countdown for the Public Multiplayer Beta of New World Order on T - 03.25 Hrs before intended release. Arrghh NOOOOOOOO!!! I hate bad news!

Termite Games tossed up the official site for their upcoming action title New World Order. The site features FAQ, screenshots of the game in action and more. New World Order is a team-based multiplayer game which features environments that could easily be taken right out of a film. It's fast paced team-action simulator with gritty attitude.

We already mentioned it earlier, here is the official press release. Project Three today announced that starting Tuesday March 26th 12.00 CET the highly anticipated Public Multiplayer Beta of the next-gen tactical first person shooter New World Order will be downloadable for public use at the following location. The playable demo will also be mirrored by several other websites, to allow people to pick their optimal download location.

New World Order Multiplayer demo will be coming to a computer near you ... according to the Project3 forum admin its scheduled for next week, the 26th March isnt that the date Global Ops should hit the shevles?). For the people who have been hiding under a rock the past few months, New World Order is a eagerly awaited First Person Shooter in the pure Counterstrike style ... I have been following the NWO forum for a few weeks and tensions were growing and the atmosphere grimmer by the day, but alas next week our suffering will come to an end. To end all speculation Project 3 today announced that its upcoming blockbuster New World Order will come with an easy to handle MOD-editor. So, start practicing your programming skills and draw up some concept levels and skins...

New World Order is most likely to succeed where many other First Person Shooters failed ... Unless a nuclear attack wipes out the world .. New World Order will be the first REAL CounterStrike killer ... Something i personally have been looking for...
