The latest Famitsu issue has the first details for Capcom's newest title in the Onimusha series. Expected spring 2006 in Japan, Dawn of Dreams is situated in 1598 and will have several new features and additions over previous titles, such as a new camera system, updated graphics and optimized gameplay mechanics. Last week Capcom put a countdown clock on its Japanese website, indicating an announcement was coming Saturday. Whether this was meant for Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is not clear at the moment. Capcom today released the concluding chapter of the critically acclaimed Onimusha epic saga, Onimusha 3 Demon Siege for the PlayStation2. Onimusha 3 Demon Siege introduces newly designed 3D polygonal environments, more expansive settings to explore, a new dual hero fighting system, enhanced gameplay and motion picture quality cinematics that the series is known to deliver.

Onimusha Blade Warriors brings together for the first time famed Japanese actors, Takeshi Kaneshiro as Samanouske Akechi from Onimusha: Warlords and the late Yusaka Matsuda, known for his role in the 1989 film Black Rain, as Jubei Yagyu from Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny. Onimusha Blade Warriors challenges players to battle with up to three other human opponents or play a single player game against computer controlled opponents.

Capcom Entertainment today announced an August 27 launch for Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, the highly anticipated sequel to Onimusha: Warlords, for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system.
