Xpand Rally producer Techland informs that it has closed the registration process for beta testers and began the beta test. Over 10.000 people registered during the one week registration period! As announced before, Techland chose 2.000 from the registered users to become the Xpand Rally Official Beta Testers. Among all the registered the majority are residents of France, United States and Germany. However, there were also registrations from such countries as the United Arab Emirates, Korea and Malaysia.

Xpand Rally developer Techland has today started the registration of beta testers for the game. On www.xpandrally.com web page everybody can declare his readiness to become an official Xpand Rally Beta Tester. After learning the minimum system requirements of a beta tester computer and approving the non-disclosure agreement one must fill out a simple form stating his identification data, his hardware details and his preferences regarding computer racing games.

Xpand Rally races take place in different parts of the world, the player gets to race in different environments – from deserts to polar snows. Techland has today revealed the next of Xpand Rally features – diversity of tracks. 5 different sceneries and over 60 tracks on which players will compete are one of the most important game’s aspects. The game introduces stages consisting of one of eight types of surfaces as well as of mixed characteristics. Players will be able to test their skills on both: long straights during incredibly fast trials and difficult curves where driving technique is the key. Read more for some new screens!

Techland (developers of the recent Chrome) dropped us a note that they have launched
the official Xpand Rally website, their upcoming rally racing game. This site features all the latest game news, numerous screenshots and the official game forum. Cars and Tracks sections introduce the car models and tracks from the game before the release date. Detailed game features description will be presented successively in the Features section and will be followed by additional screenshots and movies. Xpand Rally release is scheduled for Q2 2004 and will be followed by Xbox game version although precise release date is not agreed yet. Read more for some new screens ...

After completing Chrome, Techland decided to focus on quickly finishing the Xpand Rally project. Along with these new efforts, certain changes have been made in the project. Among many changes, the most crucial one is the adding of advanced economic options to the game. Currently programmers are continuing their work on the project. Today we received some more information from Techland Software and their upcoming racing game Xpand Rally.. "The player sits behind the wheel of a tuned-up rally car, whose power reaching 800 ps, to race on the wilderness of the world.
