Eidos announced a new golf title called Swingerz Golf which will make its way to the Nintendo GameCube this Fall. The game is an English version of Japanese development studio Telenet's game, Wai Wai Golf. Swingerz Golf offers six different courses, 14 insane characters, lots of mini-games, and four modes of play (1-4 players) including Tournament, Stroke, Match and Short Course. This is not your daddy's golf game.

As expected, the version 1.1.1.0 patches for Half-Life and version 1.0.0.5 patches for the retail edition of Counter-Strike are now available for download. This release includes the Ricochet mod, a new demo recording facility, additional anti-cheat measures, the new C-S map de_piranesi, and various other improvements and bug fixes. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell is a third person stealth action game, featuring cyber-terrorism, shadow agencies, and covert operations.
