Stardock announced that Paradox Interactive has adopted Stardock’s Game Object Obfuscation (GOO) to protect its PC game titles from piracy starting with Majesty 2 and continuing on with other titles for both retail and electronic software sales.

Following on from their showing at the recent GDC in San Francisco, Paradox Interactive confirmed its presence at this year’s E3 Expo in Los Angeles where a number of their development teams will be on hand to showcase the latest builds and features of their titles, all of which are scheduled to release this year.

Paradox Interactive has increased its presence in Leipzig with booths in the exhibition hall as well as the Business Center showing off its fantasy RTS Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, as well as Paradox's internally developed, and yet unannounced, "Project Mayhem." Other titles in the line-up include medieval RPG title Mount & Blade, action space game Dark Horizon and the just announced fantasy strategy title Elven Legacy.

Paradox Interactive has signed the 4X strategy game, Lost Empire: Immortals. Set in space, Lost Empire: Immortals features six playable races, each with their own compelling storyline who battle for domination of a vast empire.

Paradox Interactive announced that it has signed Supreme Ruler 2020 to its publishing portfolio of 2008. Developed by BattleGoat Studios, Supreme Ruler 2020 adds many new features, building on the success of the award winning Supreme Ruler 2010.

Paradox Interactive has acquired the intellectual property for Cyberlore '98 fantasy kingdom sim title Majesty, which quickly became one of the most renowned games to be released in the genre and sold over 500.000 copies worldwide.

The new entity will be handling all of the interactive business previously dealt with by Paradox Entertainment. Paradox Interactive will continue to build on their renowned franchises including Europa Universalis and Crusader Kings. The first game to be released under the new name is the much awaited Grand Strategy title Hearts of Iron 2, sequel to the acclaimed Hearts of Iron.
