Atari has announced a "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Pre-Order Campaign" and demo program, which allows consumers who reserve a copy of RT3 to download three professionally designed coasters that were created exclusively for the game. A playable demo of the game will be available for download on Monday, September 27th at www.atari.com/rollercoastertycoon and on partner sites.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will feature all-new 3-D graphics and the ability to virtually "ride the rides", but will also allow players to design amazing fireworks displays that can be choreographed to the music of their choice. In addition, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will also include the ability to assign music to rides in the park, new realistic day and night cycles, a park lighting system and various weather effects.

the official RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 website has been updated with an FAQ featuring a bunch of new questions and answers about the upcoming theme-park simulator. Most important is the mention of an upcoming RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 demo: "We hope to release a limited playable demo in September that will be ‘beta’ code and give you a taste of the new RollerCoaster Tycoon 3." Of course we will have it on our fileserver network as soon as it becomes available...

Atari announced today that, in addition to all-new 3-D graphics and the ability to virtually "ride the rides," RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will allow players to design amazing fireworks displays that can be choreographed to the music of their choice. Using the new Fireworks MixMaster, players can create pyrotechnic masterpieces and synchronize them to music using pre-set in-game songs or their own MP3 files. In addition, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will also include the ability to assign music to rides in the park, new realistic day and night cycles, a park lighting system and various weather effects.
