MVP! MVP! MVP! EA today announced American League Most Valuable Player (MVP) Miguel Tejada and National League Cy Young winner Randy Johnson as the North American spokesmen and cover athletes of the upcoming MVP Baseball 2003 interactive video game from EA SPORTS.

The all-new baseball franchise from EA SPORTS, MVP Baseball 2003 is a completely new game with a rebuilt engine and is being made by a new internal development team at EA Canada. MVP Baseball 2003 will deliver the most authentic baseball experience with the addition of a variety of revolutionary new features. A new pitcher/batter interface will give players the opportunity to be more strategic both on the mound and at the plate. Through a measure of power and release point, pitchers will need to execute their pitches while batters can choose the type of swing depending on the game situation and execute accordingly.

Batter up! EA takes fans out to the ballgame with the first season of MVP Baseball from EA SPORTS. Currently under development, MVP Baseball 2003 will be available next spring on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. A PC version will be released in summer 2003.
