Take-Two has signed a new incentive compensation program for its Rockstar Games label based on a profit sharing arrangement, and at the same time has entered into new long-term employment agreements with the creative team of its wholly-owned Rockstar Games publishing label until Jan. 31, 2012.

A new “Games Market in Korea” study finds that approximately 67% of Korean users in their 20s purchase paid digital content, with one of the fastest growing segments being casual games, that are free-to-play, easy-to-learn and can be played in “micro-slices” of time of ten minutes or less. Current forecast indicates the online games market in South Korea will exceed $1.7 billion by 2011, driven by new releases and an ingrained gaming culture.

Red Mile signed the license to Frank Miller's Sin City graphic novels and comic books; signed Flint Dille, known for The Chronicles of Riddick, as designer/scriptwriting; and revealed Sin City: The Game will be powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 3. Red Mile revealed that Transmission Games is no longer developing the game, instead focusing on Heroes Over Europe. The studio switch happened a while ago, although Red Mile did not reveal who the new developer is.

TAITO issued a statement that the "Invaders!" installation displayed at the Leipzig Games Convention was produced entirely without TAITO’s knowledge, that the use of the Space Invaders content is unauthorized, and considering legal actions.
