It’s up to Sonic and his pals to save the world from the evil Dr. Eggman, who has returned to once again try his hand at world domination. The evil Doctor’s scheme is to steal the seven Chaos Emeralds and raise the all-powerful Chaos monster to do his bidding. Entangled in the plot of the sinister Dr. Eggman, Sonic must enlist the help of his friends Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Big to foil Eggman’s every move. As we mentioned earlier, a PC version is in the work, due to be released in Japan mid December. unfortunatly no date for other territories is known as of yet (thanks 576.hu). 'Coliseum' - Demo Available NOW

Shrapnel Games and Stormcloud Creations would like to announce the release of a full- featured demo for the upcoming fantasy gladiatorial management sim, Coliseum. The demo gives players an enormous taste of what to expect in the full title to be released in December. In terms of features and gameplay elements the demo is almost exactly as the final game will be, with two exceptions. One, the game halts halfway through the fighting season, allowing players to try out twenty days of the forty-day season. Two, players cannot save the game. Other than that the demo and full game are enough alike that you'll be able to walk away with a very informed opinion of what to expect when the full game ships.

'Savage Eden: The Battle for Laghaim' Nears Release

Savage Eden, the US version of the popular Asian online multiplayer game Laghaim, is nearing its release in America. The Nako engineers from Korea are at the iENT center of operations in Cary, NC working hard to make final developments and fine tuning for the United States game launch. The closed beta registration for the game was well received by the RPG community with over 2,000 applicants in the selection pool. The beta stage is set to begin sometime in early December.

As was promised, Activision has released the Mod/Editing tools for Infinity Ward's WWII FPS Call of Duty. A few weeks ago there was a leaked & then re-called (aahhhnold!) linux server, but they now also released the final version of that, including the required library and some minor docs. The editor includes the CoDRadiant level editor & tools, the Dawnville sample map, etc. A Call Of Duty retail game is required for both applications. Read more for details & download links ...
