Buena Vista Interactive, a publishing label of Buena Vista Games, Inc., today announced that mod tools for TRON 2.0 are now available for download. These powerful tools will allow gamers to create new TRON 2.0 levels, maps, skins, weapons and voice packs for the critically acclaimed first-person action adventure game that received Editor's Choice Awards from the industry's leading PC game publications. AGON is a true adventure game that comes in fourteen downloadable episodes over a period of two years starts in the British Museum, London. The first episode was released on 3 September, and can be downloaded from the official Agon website. Microsoft has issued a new patch for their recently released shooter Halo: Combat Evolved. This upgrade brings your retail copy to v1.02 and adds support for multiple instances to the Bungie dedicated server, enabling Bungie & the community to roll out many more servers for gamers. Also introduced are client support for RCon (Remote Console), allowing dedicated server operators to have control over their servers running in data centers. Halo Dedicated Server 1.02 has been released; it adds the ability to run multiple instances of the server on a single machine, and enables RCON functionality (you can remotely control the server, without needing direct access to the machine). Gearbox and Bungie are making this available tonight, so that folks running dedicated servers can be prepared when the client patch goes live, DO NOT INSTALL THIS YET, nobody will be able to play on your server. Simply get it to your server tonight, so that you're ready when the switchover occurs tomorrow. The mapfiles are not included, they will be released tomorrow, for those who don't already have them.

After a long exclusivity period, Cinemaware has finally released the demo for their 3D action strategy remake "Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown". This is a limited DEMO version which covers the introductory part of the game, the player can play the entire Sherwood Forest sequence and try to defeat the Sheriff. Project3/1C have released a single/multiplayer demo for their upcoming arcade racing game R.C. Cars, featuring radio controlled cars with high physical models. All action takes place on polysurfaces designed in such a manner that a car could bounce on big rocks, pits and bumps do acrobatic feats in the air while small surface irregularities could be plausibly and visually damped by a suspender. Forgotten Hope Beta 0.5 is about 50% complete and features a huge number of planes, tanks and battleships - not only beautifully modelled, but also simulated in a very realistic way. To top it all off there is a choice of new maps as well. The FH Mod team has released a pair of new patches bringing their BF1942 mod to v0.5d (they initially released 0.5c, but a few bugs crept in so they immediately issued a 0.5d fix). iGames and S2 Games today announced that a demo for Savage: The Battle for Newerth is in the final stages of development and testing. Its public release is imminent, expected October 6th. The long awaited Real Time Strategy FPS hit the shelves September 9th and earned accolades from the media, driving the gaming community to clamor for a demo. iGames and S2 have answered the fan requests and will release a demo featuring two levels of gameplay thrusting players into the role of commander or warrior in the Human forces. Of course we will have it on our fileservers as soon as it becomes available!

Believe it or not, the XIII madness continues! Ubisoft has now released the US XIII Multiplayer demo. Players can choose between two action-packed 6-player maps for either Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch action. XIII's 15 deadly weapons are featured in the demo along with a few surprise armaments, allowing players to discover their favorite weapons before the game ships in October. It's a new trend, after update patches for full games, we're now onto updating demo's. THQ has released another updated demo for their sci-fi flying action game Yager. This v5.20 demo once again features the same missions as before but has been updated with fixes that were implemented in the recent German retail update patch, such as controller improvement, bug fixes and graphics enchancements (
