Marvelous Entertainment and XSEED Games announced a strategic co-publishing partnership which will allow Marvelous to enter the North American market and give XSEED Games an opportunity to access and bring to market titles from Marvelous’ portfolio starting with Valhalla Knights 2 for the PSP, scheduled to launch in fall 2008.

When Capcom shut down its Clover studio, responsible for titles such as Okami and God Hand, a couple of key people, Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil) and Hideki Kayima (Devil May Cry), went their own way and formed SEED. To increase their chances of survival, SEED announced on their web site that it decided to merge with ODD Corporation and will be known as Platinum Games, effective Oct. 1.
