Electronic Arts Japan, Star Wars Galaxies distributor in Japan, announced today that it is seizing support for LucasArts/SOE's Star Wars themed MMO. European and North American servers remain unaffected so Japanese gamers who which to continue their quest will get a chance to transfer their account. Valve lastest
Steam Update has a few details on what to expect next now that it has released The Lost Coast map for Half-Life 2. Valve has been working on two new maps for CS:S, updated versions of de_nuke and cs_militia, along with a number of new player models for both sides. Its Zombie Movie has won Best Comedy Horror Short down at Screamfest L.A., so expect it over Steam soon, and its commentary system included in Lost Coast received positive responses so Valve is looking for ways to include it in future products.

SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding the latest Rag Doll Kung Fu update through its online delivery system Steam. This release addresses a camera issue, adds chat log, mouse sensitivity can now be saved, missing text bug fix, and online server list has many improvements, including search for friends, and various filters. In reaction to German publisher Frogster seizing its Bet on Soldier support, UK publisher
Digital Jesters announces that both DJ and BoS developer Kylotonn will continue support for Bet on Soldier: Blood Sport with patches, compatibilty issues and anything else that crops up in the future. Claiming Frogster did their statement in error, a retraction or clarification is said to be announced soon.
