C&C 3: Kane's Wrath, the first addon for its 3D RTS, centers around NOD's leader Kane, starting after the 2nd Tiberium war, leading up to the 3rd, and beyond. Each faction will have new units, structures, upgrades, sub factions, and a new Risk-like Global Domination mode will be introduced, dropping you into action once enemies are encountered on the map.

Scheduled for early 2008 release, Kane's Wrath centers around NOD's leader Kane, starts after the 2nd Tiberium war, leading up to the 3rd, and beyond. Only
a few weeks ago SCi revealed it would be postponing PS3 development, due to its limited install base, but in the short time since, that picture seems to have changed. In a statement earlier today Eidos' parent company announced it is delaying both titles (Kane & Lynch late 2007, Crossfire early 2008), lowered its earnings for the year, and confirmed PS3 editions for both titles are in the works.

Lionsgate has acquired screen rights to Eidos' Kane & Lynch, Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter will produce (currently working on Hitman movie), Howard Sun will co-produce. Mercenary Kane meets with schizophrenic Lynch while being transported to death row, only to be attacked and kidnapped by Kane's former team. The unlikely duo is forced to retrieve a stolen fortune that Kane has hidden. Askarieh and Alter are also working on 2 movies basic on comic book series, while Askarieh is also producing videogame based Spy Hunter at Universal.

While details are as good as non-existant, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic developer Arkane Studios and the art Director of Half-Life 2 are working on an all new project, The Crossing, powered by Valve's Source engine. According to
1UP this game, if pulled off successfully, could create a new genre of gaming, as it merges singleplayer with multiplayer in what is being called crossplayer-FPS. The Crossing will be cover story on the next Games for Windows issue.

Valve today announced a Source Engine licensing partnership with Arkane Studios, creators of Arx Fatalis. Already in development, Arkane's Source-based project is targeted for the PC. Valve's Source Engine Technology, the same used to create Half-Life 2, gives developers the ability to create expressive digital actors and physically simulated worlds.
