While there has yet to be an official announcement, Capcom is working on a third installment in the Mega Man Star Force series for the NDS. No details were revealed, but Capcom launched
a teaser site, which unfortunately does not tell us anything either.
Mega Man Star Force 2 blends a unique formula of RPG exploration elements with fast-paced action, as players travel and battle between the coexisting physical and virtual Wave World. While seeking to unravel the mystery around the appearance of new troublemakers, players will encounter enemies in the virtual Wave World and battle them on three-by-five battle grids with their Battle Card deck.

While there has yet to be an official announcement, it's no secret that Capcom is working on Mega Man 9 for Nintendo's downloadable WiiWare service. Series creator Keiji Inafune is involved in the creative process of
this 8-bit creation, designing the famously hard to beat bosses. Apart from loads of items returning from various SNES iteration returning to the franchise, there will be plenty of new stuff to acquire, or buy, as a shop has been added to the mix where you can buy new armor, spike shoes, energy balancers, etc.
