Today Funcom released an action-packed video of Anarchy Online Notum Wars, in-game footage as well as the second article about towers from Game Director Gaute Godager. Silverstyle, developer of the Real Time Strategy (RTS) game "Soldiers of Anarchy" for the PC has announced a level design contest. Starting today through November 22, fans can submit their user-made map via the SOA web site. 'Soldier Of Anarchy' comes with an easy-to-use level design editor that allows gamers to create their own worlds to play in. These levels can be played in single or multi-player mode via the Internet. To enter the contest, gamers have till November 22 to submit their level via the Soldiers Of Anarchy web site. Instructions on how to submit entries can be found at the web site.

Simon & Schuster Interactive announced today that its Real Time Strategy (RTS) game "Soldiers of Anarchy" for the PC has shipped to retail and will be in stores by Friday. Voodooextreme got some new screenshots posted for this upcoming MMORPG, Neocron (our recent posted screens is available here). The open beta test will begin early August, and the game is due out Q4 of this year. At the same time they posted 3 screens from the upcoming 3D strategy game, Soldiers of Anarchy and some screens from Big Huge Games upcoming historical based real-time strategy game, Rise of Nations.

Tonight Blues News serves up some movies from Soldiers of Anarchy, the 3D tactical RTS being developed at Silverstyle Entertainment. There is a gameplay movie that sports some three and a half minutes of action-packed footage, demonstrating combat with the game's eponymous soldiers and a variety of vehicles, complete with a rocking soundtrack for the price of a 17.2 MB download in AVI format. The second movie demonstrates the game's editor in more than six minutes of AVI footage (18.3 MB), complete with German commentary by lead designer Carsten Strehse.

S.O.A. also give players a compete level and scenario editor to create new missions for themselves and for multiplayer action.

Anarchy Online: Shadowlands is the new expansion pack currently in development to compliment Anarchy Online, Funcom's award-winning massively multiplayer online game. Shadowlands is currently planned for a 4th quarter 2002 release and will contain many new areas to explore, profession specialisation, additional breed variations, higher quality armour and item options, improved graphic effects, and much more.

After winning the Best Massively Multiplayer Online Game award from PC Gamer magazine for its game, Anarchy Online, Funcom announces the release of a special retail edition shipping to stores on May 15, 2002. Good news for German online gamers: Funcom and the German gamigo AG are going to open a dimension of Anarchy Online for German gamers. This cooperation is a further step towards improving the accessibility of Anarchy Online in Germany.
