Microsoft today announced that Age of Mythology, Ensemble Studios' latest real-time strategy game, will be available in September of 2002. Age of Mythology is set in a mythological past when heroes battled monsters of legend, and gods intervened in the affairs of mortal men. To celebrate this announcement, Microsoft is unveiling a movie that showcases the ancient Norse civilization. The AVI is available for download here.

There aint so much new news on the gamefront this weekend so far, so we grabbed the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault demo and played around with it a while. The game "demo" looks pretty awesome and we also snapped some screens from it that you can check out below!

The world of James Bond will soon flourish on the next generation console systems. Following the highly anticipated PlayStation 2 release this fall, Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS) and MGM Interactive will bring James Bond 007 in...Agent Under Fire to the Nintendo GameCube and the Microsoft Xbox video game systems in North America in spring 2002.

To demonstrate the game's authenticity, Codemasters has released seven "compare and contrast" images. All the images feature the actual in-game car and track models, next to photography of their real life counterparts.
