details are still slim, the new game will be an action-adventure title, George Miller's first foray into the videogame business, featuring melee & projectile weapons, and of course hacked up vehicles, just as you would expect from a post apocalyptic setting.

Last year former God of War creative director
David Jaffe left to form his own studio Eat Sleep Play, and late 2007 studio director
Cory Barlog also left in order to "pursue other opportunities." While Barlog has yet to give any details what his current plans are, he did state that God of War III development "
is in good hands" at the Santa Monica studio, and that prior to leaving he worked on the story and design for the third game. The foundation of the game, along with story that completes the arc we began in God of War, was complete, and the trilogy "is going to finish off with a very big, very epic bang."

Over the past few weeks, there has been plenty of speculation regarding comments by God of War mastermind David Jaffe, and hints thrown by Ready at Dawn, but now the guessing is over. It's true, God of War is coming to the PSP in 2007.
Confirmation came from an early retail copy of GoW II, and the back cover of the manual has an ad for the God of War PSP version. No further information was revealed, such as whether the Daxter developer will be making the new version, or if it will be a straight port or an all-new title.
