Zinedine Zidane, winner of the Golden Ball in 1998, champion of Italy, European champion, and World champion launches his first ever PC CD-Rom. The French and Real Madrid captain is one of those rare talents who is able to reinvent football almost every time he kicks the ball. Apart from his obvious charisma, his dribbling, his so often decisive razor-sharp passes and his well-placed free kicks are the foundations of his style and legend.

Today we have a small interview with Terry Dowling, the man behind Project3 and Mindscape's Schizm: Mysterious Journey. Slates for release somewhere this summer. If you never heard of the game let me put it briefly. ’Schizm: Mysterious Journey’ is a non-violent single-player innovation in the adventure game genre, with fascinating non-linear game play and stunning 3D graphics. Written by the highly acclaimed science fiction writer Terry Dowling and developed in Poland by LK Avalon, ‘Schizm: Mysterious Journey’ will literally keep you playing for hours on end, in this massive double DVD-Rom or 5 CD-Rom release.

On March 15th Mindscape will release it's first big PC CD game of the year, the quirky and irreverent management sim, Rock Manager. Former CTW reporter and rock musician, Stephen Daultrey, caught up with the game's scrip-writer and director, Erik Johansson of the Stockholm-based developer, Monsterland, to get the lowdown on the game that's not afraid to dish the dirt on the cut-throat world of the rock'n'roll music world. The following interview was to originally be published in the last edition of Computer Trade Weekly magazine on 1st March 2002, however, the final issue never made it to press. We did not want you people to miss out on this .. so here it is!

Ubi Soft interview the developers so we don't have to.
Opening Notes: Thanks for agreeing to this interview. I've tried to keep the questions as open-ended as possible. Readers respond best to chatty answers, strong opinions and coherent arguments so feel free to tell us what you really think. Don't worry about syntax, grammar, spelling or any of that nonsense. We'll clean it up later. It's more important that you just talk openly…

We were able to score an interview with some of the people in charge at MASA development who are responsible for the recently released RTS, Conflict Zone
, published/distributed by UBISOFT
. They explain us what new food they bring to the already crowded RTS table since it takes innovations to the genre to make a game stand out and MASA's R&D team claim to have found an edge. Read all about it in this rather LENGTHY interview
