Call of Duty: World at War completely changes the rules of engagement by redefining WWII gaming and thrusting players into the final tension-filled, unforgiving battles against a new ferocious enemy in the most dangerous and suspenseful action ever seen. 'Guitar Hero World Tour' (ALL) Midnight Launch Events At GameStop

Guitar Hero: World Tour will feature guitar, vocals, drums, the ability to create your own songs (and upload them on GHTunes), four-player on/offline co-op, and an eight-player battle of the bands multiplayer mode (4vs4). GameStop will host midnight launch events at 1,800 of its stores on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008.

When Midway revealed last week that it was dropping various licenses it did not want to specify any particular titles or franchises, but promised to give more details in its upcoming quarterly financial statement. While it did say it only concerned non-core licenses, Epic's VP Mark Rein stated today that UT 3 was not part of the axed licenses, but instead that Epic is actively working with Midway to expand UT 3 with new content, although no further details were given.
