EA's Next 'Def Jam' Game Coming to PS3/X360

GameInformer has the first, albeit minor, details on the next installment in EA's Def Jam fighting franchise. While Def Jam Vendetta and its sequel Fight for NY were a mix between street brawler and wrestling, the new title will be more focussed on the fighting than pulling panties. Previous titles were mostly in confined indoor settings, Def Jam 3 will open it up a little and also take the action outdoors. No doubt there will be another lineup of celebrties and tons of hip-hop music. A projected release date for the next gen title has not yet been revealed.

Koei's Tokyo Game Show 2005 Lineup

KOEI today revealed its lineup of games for next month's Tokyo Game Show in Japan. KOEI is preparing two games for the event: Ni-Oh, a samurai-themed action game for PS3, and Dynasty Warriors 5 Special, an enhanced edition of the Tactical Action game for Xbox 360.

Fast forward to 2004 and players rejoin Leon, who is now a U.S. agent with a top-secret mission. He has been tasked to look into the abduction of the President’s daughter and his investigation has led him to a mysterious location in Europe. These screens include images of Leon's new and PS2 exclusive weapon the P.R.L. 412.

DreamWorks Wants to Take over 'Splinter Cell' Movie Project From Paramount

DreamWorks announced today that is close to acquiring the film rights to Tom Clancy's videogame "Splinter Cell" where the script will be written by Daniel PyneDaniel Pyne ("The Manchurian Candidate"). This move means Dreamworks would take the project over from Paramount, where it was originally set up last winter.
