This follow-up release to Deus Ex is being developed by Ion Storm, creators of the original game, and is slated to arrive in stores in 2003. Namco Hometek Inc.'s highly anticipated Dead to Rights is scheduled to launch for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in the U.S. in late July. Inspired by Hong Kong action movies, classic film noir style and hardboiled detective novels, Dead To Rights stars action noir hero, Jack Slate, a good cop in a bad city, forced to be a fugitive as he fights for his life and searches for his father's killers.
Electronic Arts today announced that The Sims is in development for the PS2, at the company's Walnut Creek-based Maxis studio in conjunction with Austin-based, Edge of Reality, Ltd. Players will now be able to create and control their Sims like never before with all new level-based game play, two-player mode, and dynamic 3D graphics. The #1 PC game of all time will make its console debut this fall and will be unveiled to industry insiders on May 22nd at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition in Los Angeles.
