SC2 features seven distinctive modes of game-play including: Arcade, Vs, Time Attack, Survival, Team Battle, Practice, and the console exclusive, Weapon Master. Weapon Master is a "complete the mission" mode combined with an RPG twist. In this mode, the player can collect and equip their character with up to 200 different weapons, thus adding a deeper level of strategy to every new battle. CDV has just announced that American Conquest, due for release on February 14th, 2003 has gone gold! American Conquest portrays 300 years of historical conflict in North America. From the moment Columbus arrived in Newfoundland to 1492 to the War and Declaration of Independence in 1776, this game covers it all. Up to 32,000 units – a gaming record – can take part in each battle, resulting in some of the most sophisticated and epic depictions of war ever seen in a computer game. The game is unique as an educational tool as well as a great strategy game: it utilizes historically accurate weapons and strategies of the period at hand, which evolve throughout the game.

'Shadowbane' Reveals New Siege Warfare System - Screens

The Official Shadowbane Web site just released details about their new Siege Warfare system currently being tested inside the beta. The new city sieging system has been dramatically streamlined to be more inline with a number of developer Wolfpack Studios original design goals. These goals were to enhance the ability of attacking armies to cripple neighboring states through the use of economic pressure, extending the time of a siege to minimize late night raids, and making the overall system more intuitive and easier to manage.

In "Dark Tomorrow" Batman must use all of his skills, both mental and physical, as well as a variety of gadgets, to defeat some of his most infamous adversaries, including Poison Ivy, Killer Croc and many others. In addition, he must infiltrate Arkham Asylum and rescue Police Commissioner James Gordon. During this time, Batman has to piece together clues to discover the mastermind behind these seemingly unrelated events and stop an evil plan that threatens the fate of the entire world! NBA STREET Vol. 2 lets players bring their act to the street show and face off against the greatest basketball players of all-time on blacktop courts throughout North America. First team to "21" wins, but in NBA STREET Vol. 2, style and attitude are as important as putting the ball in the basket. Currently under development, NBA STREET Vol. 2 will be available this spring for the PlayStation2, the GameCube and Xbox. You know Rayman, you know Globox and Murfy, and you've met the Hoodlums -- now get ready for the Knaaren, possibly Rayman's most imposing enemy to date. Not the kind of guys you want to encounter in a dark alley (or anywhere else for that matter), the Knaaren growl violent mantras as they systematically crush anything in their path. To succeed in his world-saving mission, Rayman will have to win their allegiance using both brains and brawn -- no easy feat. Oh, the Knaaren also have a bit of a gong fetish. Yeah, gongs. Go figure.
