'Rome: Total War' - v1.3 Euro Update Patch Available NOW

Activision has released a new patch for Creative Assembly's 3D RTS Rome: Total War. This update brings your German/French retail game to v1.3 and sychronizes multiplayer with the Barbarian Invasion addon, adds campaign and battle map improvements, and the usual balance adjustments, crash and bug fixes.

'Age of Empires III' - v1.01 Patch Available NOW

Age of Empires III is an RTS set in 1500 A.D. and chronicles the Age of Discovery that started around the time that Columbus discovered the new world. Ensemble has released the first patch preparing for the official launch next week, bringing your retail game to v1.01 and improves formations, and the usual game tweaks, bug and crash fixes.

'Rayman 4' Coming In 2006

At a fall Gaming Session press event in France, Ubisoft presented its lineup of upcoming titles. The usual suspects were all present, such as Ghost Recon 3, Prince of Persia, King Kong, and so forth, but the real interesting part was when producer Michel Ancel announced that the new installment in the Rayman franchise is making a comeback, which we already hinted at several months ago. While the teaser video did not reveal much information, it showed Rayman being called back from some tropical/vacation resort. No specific were given, but it is expected end of 2006, and most likely on current and next-gen consoles.

Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Brutal Winter"... Map info: "The unforgiving winter is upon us... a time when resources are scarce and flanks exposed. Call forth the warriors, for there could not be a better time to attack than now. " This is a small map size and the suggested no. of players is 1v1, or 2v2. 'Battlefield 2: Modern Combat' (PS2/Xbox) Goes Gold

EA announced today that BF2:MC went gold and is expected in stores October 25. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat will drop players into the heat of battle on the high tech frontlines, entering a new modern era of combat with more firepower and new expansive environments. Armed with the latest modern weaponry, players can take control of over 30 vehicles, including tanks, helicopters and fast attack vehicles, to engage in major conflicts in some of the largest online battles.
