EA announced today that From Russia With Love has gone gold on the PS2 and Xbox and will be shipping on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2005, with a GameCube version following mid- November. The game follows the plot of the original From Russia with Love film, including the battle on the Orient Express and the boat chase sequence, but will expand the story with new action sequences, and utilize such cool toys as the jetpack and a Q-copter as well as the trusty Walther PPK handgun.

According to the October 4th issue of the London Gazette, Independent Magazines has filed a court petition calling for the compulsory liquidation of game publisher Digital Jesters because of unpaid debts. Digital Jesters is publisher of 'Bet On Soldier' and the upcoming title 'Crazy Frog Racer.' Court date is set for November 2nd in the high court of London, which means the fate of Digital Jesters can be decided within two weeks (thanks Mark).

Xbox 360 Playable At Wal-Mart

Various outlets and blogs have posted word that Wal-Marts all over the country have started putting up their demo kiosk and have Microsoft next-gen console up and running for customer to play. While we tried to call our local Wal-Mart, they could not confirm it was in store already, but apparently the kiosks have playable demos included for King Kong, Call of Duty 2 and Kameo. Gaming blog Joystiq.com has a list of over 50 confirmed Wal-Mart stores that have the X360 kiosk up & running.
