Today Vivendi revealed plans to release a director's edition of Monolith's upcoming sci-fi/horror shooter F.E.A.R. This enhanced edition will include several extras such as: live action "Declassified" interviews with Alma, behind the scenes documentary video, developer's Roundtable Commentary video, F.E.A.R. machinima episodes, F.E.A.R. comic book created by Dark Horse Comics (in-box), a chance to win the "Golden Ticket" Sweepstakes (in-box), and all the F.E.A.R. installation files conveniently on one DVD-ROM (thanks Blues).

'The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II' - Facts & 18 New Screens

BFME 2 takes part in the North where a battle is raging between Sauron's forces vs. elves and dwarves. It will be possible to create/customize your own hero, apart from known figures such as Arwin, and become more powerful as you progress in the game. While BFME was all land based, the sequel will also take the action on the sea, naval battles included, courtesy of an updated engine.

'Gretzky NHL '06' (PSP/PS2) - 7 New Screens

Last week MadMinute Games announced it was no longer partnering with Activision Value, and today MMG let us know that it has joined forces with Naval Warfare Simulations to publish their next game in the Take Command Series. Current plans have MMG announcing the title and release date in October 2005. NWS has a very successful online computer game store where they specialize in war games. NWS has long been the favorite store for purchasers of CWBR, providing very reasonable shipping rates and prices.

'Age of Empires III' - 8 New Screens

'Age of Empires III' is set in 1500 A.D. and chronicles the Age of Discovery that started around the time that Columbus "discovered" the new world. According to developer Neko Entertainment is it. Currently working on Crazy Frog Racing for Digital Jesters, the French developer claims to also be working on porting BoS and it will be finished in about 8/10 months. Bet On Soldier is a first-person shooter with a corporation-takes-over-the-world-style plot, allowing players to do exactly what it promises with its title - that is, bet on the outcome of encounters with specific enemies. Before entering battle, players can wager on which particular enemy soldiers they are going to kill. Publisher Digital Jesters whoever was un-aware of any such projects.
