Utilizing Nyko's exclusive technology for reliability in wireless, the new controller features redesigned handgrips with a new twist that enables the fan to be placed in the front of the unit for a greater flow of air onto the hands. Nyko's product also offers dual function left and right shoulder buttons, camera analog stick and primary play buttons. The new controller carries Nyko's patented Air Flo design with personalized ventilation speed settings. A unique retro rotary analog fan control and matching rotary channel selector differentiates the new controller. In addition, the D-pad has an extension for user customization.
"Our research and development team developed a new wireless technology specifically for this product," said Susan Corben, director of marketing, Nyko Technologies. "The error correction algorithms employed in the Wireless Air Flo controller for Sony PlayStation® 2 give gamers reliability, superb control, and less interference. This means that gamers don't have to worry about losing the connection in the middle of a crucial maneuver. All the while, cooling sweaty hands."
