E. GENERAL STRATEGIES
The world of Exigo can be both an amazing and dangerous place to explore. You’ll encounter beautiful forests, ruthless enemies, powerful magic and numerous other surprises. To further increase your chances of surviving, we’ve come up with some useful tips that will help you out.
- Your resources are limited, and you’ll come under immediate and constant attack once you begin to build a base. Conserve your strength and concentrate your fire on the most powerful enemy units.
- Maximize your resource collection efficiency – build your castle as close as possible to the gold fields and the gem mine, so your peasants will spend less time running back and forth and more time gathering supplies.
- You can garrison Ranger units into towers in order to increase your defenses. Towers can also be upgraded so that they will attack enemy units automatically, even when a unit isn’t garrisoned in them.
- Across the river from your base is a small Beast encampment. If Alric and his followers can take this outpost out early, the extra resources there can be exploited, and the number of attacks against your own base will be reduced.
- Destroy the Phoenix Orb, before attempting to attack the main Beast base to the Southwest. The phoenixes that join your side will be of great help against the Wyverns and invisible units!
- There is a neutral building somewhere in the forest: the Azure Tower. Take control of this building in order to gain access to a powerful offensive spell.
- In-game tips and help can be found by holding your mouse pointer over any button or menu item in the demo.
