Helmed by original Crazy Taxi creator Kenji Kanno, Crazy Taxi: World Tour will take players on a high-octane adventure around the globe.
In the new World Tour story-driven campaign, players will play as Axel, chasing down mysterious masked villains who stole his beloved taxi all while tackling extreme missions and challenges!
Echoing the spirit of the original game, Crazy Taxi: World Tour will continue the tradition of including in-game storefronts of popular real-life retailers. With the new game set to take players on a globetrotting adventure, each World Tour map will feature regional retailers. Some storefronts and destinations confirmed to be in the West Coast map include iconic brands such as IHOP and Amoeba Music.
Players can look forward to additional in-game storefronts and retailers to be announced alongside the reveals of remaining World Tour maps.
SEGA unveiled Japan as the second international location for the all-new, high-octane adventure Crazy Taxi: World Tour. The Japan map is the third of five maps offered in the game’s new single-player World Tour story campaign.
In the Japan map, players can take in the hustle and bustle of a modern city next to historic neighborhoods and burn rubber as they tear through expressways winding between towering skyscrapers.
Along the way, players can stop by iconic shops like ICHIRAN, Kani Doraku and SHIBUYA109.
Additional new features include:
- New maps and missions – navigate diverse terrain across five unique cities
- Multiplayer modes – play against friends or online competitors around the world
- New vehicles and customization - unlock a wide variety of vehicles and customization options to create your own one-of-a-kind ride
- Classic mode – revisit the thrills of the original games in Arcade Mode
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) in 2027.
