by Rainier on Dec. 6, 2006 @ 6:24 a.m. PST

Left Behind: Eternal Forces will put players in command of the apocalyptic battles raging in the streets of New York City between the angelic Tribulation Forces and the demonic Global Community Peacekeepers during the End of Days. Gamers will participate in events from the Left Behind book series in single player mode and battle to capture territory from other players in the multi-player online game mode.

Left Behind fans and gamers can look forward to new in-game live cinematics. There will be more missions and clues. Music lovers will be able to enjoy additional songs from top Christian artists. The expansion will introduce two new heroes from the Left Behind book series, Leon Fortuanto with the Global Community Peacekeepers, and Amanda White of the Tribulation Force.

"We are pleased with the outcome of our first release and look forward to upcoming game updates, which are free to those currently purchasing Left Behind: Eternal Forces, the PC Game. Plans for our expansion packs are part of our relentless commitment to create a gaming experience everyone will enjoy," states Troy Lyndon, co-founder and CEO, Left Behind Games Inc.

Left Behind Games' first product, Left Behind: Eternal Forces, the PC Game, is now available at more than 10,000 major retailers and inspirational book stores. Players will experience a post-rapture world in the ultimate battle of good versus evil. The storyline is based on the best-selling Left Behind book series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, which has sold more than 63 million copies worldwide.
