Ryse is a first-person hack-and-slash brawler game that centers around the control of a Roman warrior.

Ryse: Son of Rome tells the story of a young Roman soldier named Marius who witnesses the murder of his family at the hands of barbarian bandits, then travels with the Roman army to Britannia to seek revenge. Quickly rising through the ranks, Marius leads the Roman army against the barbarian horde, and then discovers that he must return to Rome to find his vengeance.

Fight as a soldier. Lead as a general. Rise as a legend.

The PC version of Ryse will come with bonus material originally released as downloadable content, including: The Colosseum Pack containing two character skins and two Arena maps; the Mars’ Chosen Pack containing one new character skin, four Arena maps, and the new Survival mode; the Duel of Fates Pack containing two character skins, two Arena maps, and one additional Survival map; and the Morituri Pack, with three new Arena maps, two Survival maps, and five solo Arena maps. Finally, PC players will also have instant access to the Ruins multiplayer map and the “Legionnaire’s Trust” sword initially released as part of a special edition of the game.

Players who pre-order Ryse from participating retailers, including Steam, will also receive an exclusive digital copy of the game's stirring soundtrack.

Ryse: Son of Rome comes to PC with 4K resolution support, bringing the game's visuals and epic action to life in more spectacular style than ever. The bonus soundtrack offer for those who pre-order means gamers can enjoy Ryse's critically-acclaimed audio anytime, anywhere, and delve deeper into the tempestuous world of ancient Rome as depicted in Ryse. A creative collaboration involving over 200 individuals, the multi-award nominated soundtrack echoes the emotional journey of lead character Marius Titus – from the agony of loss to the brutality of battle, and beyond. Scored by three veteran composers and performed by the Hungarian Studio Orchestra, the soundtrack features 25 tracks and over 50 minutes of original music.
