by Rainier on April 1, 2021 @ 11:58 a.m. PDT

Set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and the surrounding area, Grand Theft Auto V delivers a world of unprecedented scale and detail bursting with life, from mountaintops to the depths of the ocean.

When a young street hustler, a retired bank robber and a terrifying psychopath find themselves entangled with some of the most frightening and deranged elements of the criminal underworld, the U.S. government and the entertainment industry, they must pull off a series of dangerous heists to survive in a ruthless city in which they can trust nobody, least of all each other.

Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

Grand Theft Auto V also comes with Grand Theft Auto Online, the dynamic and ever-evolving online universe for up to 30 players, and includes all existing gameplay upgrades and content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Rise through the ranks to become a CEO of your own criminal empire by trading contraband or form a Motorcycle Club and rule the streets. High-Altitude or High-Octane: GTA Online Celebrates Stunts of All Shapes and Sizes

This week, GTA Online celebrates the adrenaline junkies who defy gravity and death alike, on set and off the grid. Parachuting from high-altitudes and jumping a vehicle over as many local landmarks as you can while LSPD patrol-cars wreck themselves in hot pursuit is a reward all its own, but a nice payday sure never hurt anyone.

3X GTA$ and RP on Drop Zone

Strap on your ‘chute and throw yourself out of a hovering chopper. Whatever you do upon landing is up to you — your goal is to hold the Zone down against your enemy. They’ll be dropping in just as fast and just as hot as you. In addition to a set of wind-chapped cheeks, you will walk away with triple GTA$ and RP on Drop Zone, all week long.

2X GTA$ and RP on All Parachute Jobs Plus Unlock the Bigness Jackal Sweater

Dom Beasley’s always described himself as more of a control junkie than anything else. Visit any Parachute marker on your map or pull up Parachuting Jobs via the Jobs list on the Pause Menu to earn 2X GTA$ and RP, all week long — not to mention you’ll get the Bigness Jackal Sweater for free by April 14th.

If you need a nudge out of the cargo bay door, keep in mind that all Parachutes, Parachute Bags, and Parachute Smoke options are free for the next seven days.

Stunt Jump Bonus

Whether it’s on two wheels or four, completing any 5 Stunt Jumps across the map this week will land you a GTA$500,000 bonus in your Maze Bank account by April 14th.

Double Rewards on Biker Sell Missions, Work, and Challenges

For some the heat rippling off the road, the chemical cocktail of asphalt mingling with engine fumes, the roar barely contained by a vintage chassis, the tight embrace of a pair of skintight chaps — these are the hallmarks of a true stunt aficionado. These leather types will be able to earn a killing off Biker Sell Missions and MC Work & Challenges — all paying out double GTA$ and RP until April 7th.

On the Podium This Week: Itali RSX

Stop by the lobby of The Diamond Casino & Resort to spin the Lucky Wheel and walk away with GTA$, RP, clothing, mystery items, and more. This week’s top prize on the podium is the Itali RSX — a luxury sportscar that elicits all sorts of reactions, including (but not limited to): envious whistles, expletives, and nervous yelps; all are appropriate.

In addition to the free Parachute paraphernalia above, GTA Online players can take advantage of a range of discounts this week, including on real estate like Garages and Hangars that will help take your vehicle collection to the next level, as well as a range of vehicles to help get you airborne in all sorts of ways, whether it’s a helicopter or a hypercar built to fly off a shoulder of the highway at high speed.
