Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Remake is new remake of the original revered Star Wars story and blockbuster role-playing game experienced by millions of fans around the world.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Remake is completely rebuilt from the ground up for a new generation of players to experience this legendary tale as never before.

"Aspyr has gone full in to make this the best game that they can make. When we acquired Aspyr, we knew from the start that they would require our assistance. Saber Interactive has tremendous expertise in creating these types of products. We've done it on Halo, on multiple Halo products, so we've been spending a lot of time working with them to bring this title over," commented Saber Interactive Founder and CEO of Matthew Karch.

"We're fully confident that the game is going to be fantastic but it's a massive, massive product and massive products require a lot of effort and a lot of time to make good. And especially when you're talking about a game already old - very old - we've basically had to remake that game from scratch," Karch continued.

Development of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Remake is led by a newly created team composed of industry veterans at developer and publisher Aspyr, working in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games have worked together in recent years to bring multiple classic Star Wars titles to modern platforms, including the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
