Set in the far reaches of outer space during a new Dark Age, WarFrame introduces the Tenno, a race on the brink of extinction after being enslaved by the Grineer for centuries. Players enter WarFrame on the cusp of the Grineer's victory over the Tenno until they begin to arm themselves with WarFrames - an ancient exo-skeletal technology only they can operate. Hidden within the Orokin Derelicts of a lost civilization, new WarFrames lie dormant and undiscovered. These artifacts are the Tenno's only hope for survival.

WarFrame is a free-to-play fast-action PvE shooter set in an evolving sci-fi world. Some would call it MMO-Lite as squads of four players band together to advance their characters and battle the oppression of the genocidal Grineer. Throughout their combat missions, players will continually increase the power and abilities of their WarFrame and weapons. Players will raid new areas of space searching for exotic and powerful weapons and WarFrame augmentations to customize their arsenal. With WarFrame's Automatic Mission Generator, the game will offer endless replay as levels are procedurally configured for a unique raid -- every time.

Warframe developer Digital Extremes is heating up for the summer and is kicking off a season packed full of major game development reveals and updates, starting with a live segment during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest digital showcase on Thursday, June 9 at 11 a.m. PT.

Warframe’s Senior Community Manager, Megan Everett, will join Geoff Keighley live on stage during the digital stream to update viewers briefly on gameplay enhancements coming with the Echoes of the Zariman expansion launching June 9 before teasing some major moments coming to players during Warframe’s TennoCon event on July 16.

Viewers are encouraged to link their Twitch account to their Warframe game account for a chance to claim a free Protea Warframe as a Twitch Drop during the Summer Game Fest stream. Protea is a tech-savvy tactical Warframe who gains more ammo proficiency when wielding her signature Velox weapon. All of Protea’s gadgets are affected by her appearance colors. Shrapnel grenades, shield satellites, artillery turret, and supply cache have unique models with compacted and deployed versions, as well as customized animations. TennoCon is an annual global celebration of Warframe, taking place digitally this year across multiple streaming platforms for free on Saturday, July 16. The 2022 event will feature an extensive roster of community activities, developer panels and Q&A sessions, in-game events, and contests and giveaways, all culminating in Digital Extremes’ highly anticipated TennoLive event, where players and attendees will be treated to a slew of first-look reveals and major development announcements.
