'Reliquary' Is A Story-driven Action/Adventure Coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox And PC - Trailer

by Rainier on Aug. 17, 2022 @ 3:20 p.m. PDT

Reliquary is a story-driven action/adventure game in which you explore the preserved ruins of a vanished empire as you fight your way through a land teeming with monsters, magic, and lost technology.

Reliquary is an original 3D, action-adventure title with an emphasis on character-driven story and ability-driven exploration and progression, taking influence from titles like Metroid Prime, Hyper Light Drifter, and Tomb Raider (2013).

Join Bas and Noda as they fight to discover the mysteries of their creators before they become lost to the horrors of the etherblight.

Jade Ember Studios is a three-person, woman-led team based in Longmont, CO.

Sayre Blake, an experienced artist and illustrator, is the director of Jade Ember studios and she is responsible for design, programming, art, and story development in Reliquary.

Cole Larson, whose previous experience includes a role as a world artist on Fallout 76 at Bethesda Game Studios, as well as design work on indie titles such as Office Freakout, is the game's level designer and world artist.

Jordan Drucker is the newest member of the team, and is working as a junior animator on the project.

In addition, the project has an original score composed by contracted composer Caleb Faith.

Reliquary is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Winter 2022, followed by PS5 and Xbox Series versions in 2023.
