by Rainier on Sept. 1, 2022 @ 11:09 a.m. PDT

Hitman World Of Assassination is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy, taking players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations, with Agent 47 returning for the most important contracts of his career.

Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, Agent 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Grey. Their ultimate mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, but they are forced to adapt as their hunt intensifies. When the dust settles, 47 and the world he inhabits will never be the same again.

Featuring six meticulously detailed locations packed full of creative opportunities, Hitman III gives players the unrivaled freedom to complete their objectives in a game world that reacts to everything they do. All of this is made possible by IOI’s award-winning Glacier technology, which powers Hitman III’s immersive game world to offer unparalleled player choice and replayability.

Hitman III players can import locations from the previous games in the trilogy and have more than 20+ locations under one roof. All of the improvements to rendering, animation and AI introduced with Hitman III can be enjoyed across all three games, making Hitman III the ultimate place to play the entire World of Assassination trilogy.

The Hitman III September Roadmap has arrived!

This month in Hitman III you’ll find two new fresh looking suits to unlock, visit Ambrose Featured Contracts, complete a bunch of Elusive Targets and more. Let’s take a closer look at what’s to come this September in Hitman III.

September 1 Elusive Target Arcade

To kick off September we have new Elusive Target Arcades with a very illuminating unlock. In this Arcade players will take on The Infiltrators which consists of: The Paparazzo, The Stowaway, and The Collector. With these come one complication – you may only change disguise once.

Players can also go head to head with: The Twin, The Politician and The Black Hat in The Illusory Elusive Target Arcade. Be mindful of who you pacify because in this batch  – pacifications are limited.

When you complete one of the two new Arcades you’ll unlock: The Neon Ninja Suit. Pay tribute to one of the original assassin groups in this elegant black shinobi shōzoku outfit, sewn from black leather for extra protection and elegantly stitched with thin neon lights, in case you get lost in the dark.

September 8: Location Rotation: Hokkaido

The Free Location Rotation gives all players the chance to enjoy a location from the World of Assassination. This time you’re going to Japan to visit the hyper-exclusive GAMA facility in Hokkaido. You have 10 days to enjoy everything the location has to offer. From the hot springs to life-saving surgery.

Time to beat your old high score on Doki Doki Pow Pow. Have fun.

September 9 Elusive Target: The Rage (Year 2 Edition)

*cracks knuckles* This HITMAN 3 Elusive Target takes Agent 47 back to Chongqing for a time-limited challenge that packs a punch!

Your target’s codename is ‘The Rage’ and he’s back in Chongqing once again. He’s a former middleweight champion who’s on the run for taking one fight way too far. He didn’t get the nickname ‘Crusher’ for no reason, so make sure you stay on your toes for this one.

Be the eye of the tiger. You’ve got 10 days starting September 9.

September 15 Elusive Target Arcade – Quack

Come September 15, you will be able to finally complete your Ducky Collection with the stylish “anonymous” Lucky Ducky Suit. Don’t be fooled by this lovely, soft yellow hoodie, decorated with a cute “duck” motif. Though it might show that your blood is yellow – be bold, because you know it’s stone cold. Black skinny jeans included.

Complete one of the new Elusive Target Arcade contracts (The Blusterous or The Bombastic) and the suit is yours. Good duck.

September 16 Elusive Target: The Surgeons (Year 2 Edition)

Your targets are Dr. Pavel Frydel and Dr. Akane Akenawa, brilliant and unethical transplant surgeons. They’ve arrived at the hyper-exclusive GAMA facility in Hokkaido, where they’ll be for 10 days starting September 16.

One surgery went wrong, and they made a very powerful enemy. A billionaire who lost his son. Your client offers a substantial bonus if the targets are eliminated in a manner appropriate to the death of their former patient. Poetic justice? Good luck.

September 29 Featured Contracts: Visit Ambrose

It’s time to go island hopping in this upcoming batch of Featured Contracts. The theme is Visit Ambrose, and takes players back to the newest location in HITMAN 3. Visit Ambrose can be a tricky theme if you don’t want to use the new location. But that being said, if you can find a sneaky way to frame it around Visit Ambrose without use of the location – it still counts.

How to get your Contract Featured: It can be based on a super creative briefing, a cool idea or just a plain fun contract. But bear in mind: They have to be inspired by the theme Visit Ambrose to be taken into consideration.

Up for a challenge? Click the link hitmanforum and get your submission in before Monday September 5.

Hitman III’s sandbox locations give you complete freedom to approach your objectives in any way you want. As well as the new multi-function camera, you’ll also be able to interact with the game world in new ways to access new opportunities and paths through each level. Want to organize a meeting with your target? Check. How about opening elevator doors to access a new route? You can do that too and so much more.

As you explore each mission and complete challenges, you’ll rise through 20 Mastery tracks that will unlock new tools, weapons and even Starting Locations that will let you begin your next playthrough with a big advantage – possibly even in a disguise. All of the items and weapons that you unlock in a Mastery track are added to your permanent inventory, so you’ll be able to pick and choose from them no matter what mission you want to take on next.

Hitman III has been made with replayability front and center. You simply cannot see and do everything that a mission has to offer in a single playthrough, and the Mastery tracks keep things fresh as you take new approaches, use new items and discover previously unexplored areas.

Depending on how you choose to complete your objectives, you’ll be awarded with a Playstyle at the end of each mission. From the coveted Silent Assassin to a Hired Gun and everything in between, there’s a Hitman style for every player. Maybe you’re a Marksman?

Hitman III will have full PS VR support. Yes, that means you can traverse the outside of the tallest building in the (Hitman) world in PS VR! If you own the previous games from the trilogy on PS4, you can also access locations from them within Hitman III. That’s more than 20 Hitman locations from the World of Assassination trilogy to enjoy in PS VR.

You can either play Hitman III in PS VR natively on your PS4 or via backward compatibility on PS5. To make sure all PS VR owners can experience the game in VR, we’re including a free digital copy of the PS4 version of Hitman III with all PS5 copies, whether you choose to buy it via disc or digital.

Hitman III will look, sound and play better than ever with improvements to lighting, reflections, animation and AI. Chongqing also features full water effects, with details such as rain drops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adding to the immersion of experiencing Hitman III.

On next-gen consoles, Hitman III will run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR support.

Hitman III is currently available for Nintendo Switch (through Cloud Technology), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (Epic Games Store).
