Developer 91Act and publisher Astrolabe Games are excited to announce that BlazBlue Entropy Effect X will officially launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 13, 2026, with pre-orders open in most regions on the 16th.

Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version will be able to purchase an Upgrade Pack to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and enjoy enhanced visuals, an improved frame rate, GameShare support, and exclusive Nintendo Switch 2 Edition content.

At the same time, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X will receive a FREE major content update featuring the new playable character Platinum, an upgraded Training Space, new branching route options for each run, and more. The update will launch simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S on August 13.
