PlayStation Plus Extra And Premium Adding 9 Titles To Its Game Catalog Next Week

by Rainier on July 15, 2026 @ 1:34 p.m. PDT

With the all-new PlayStation Plus, players can discover and engage with more content than ever before and deepen their connection with the PlayStation community through shared experiences.

Since launching PlayStation Plus in 2010, SIE has been at the forefront of innovation with game subscription services. With the new PlayStation Plus service, PlayStation Now has transitioned into the new PlayStation Plus offering and will no longer be available as a standalone service. PlayStation Now customers will migrate over to PlayStation Plus Premium with no increase to their current subscription fees at launch.

The new Extra and Premium tiers represent a major evolution for PlayStation Plus. With these tiers, our key focus is to ensure that the hundreds of games we offer will include the best quality content that sets us apart.

The new PlayStation Plus game catalog includes titles from dozens of talented studios across the globe, including PlayStation Studios developers such as Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, and Sucker Punch, and third-party partners such as Rockstar Games, Square Enix, WB Games and more. The hundreds of games available in the PlayStation Plus games catalog will continue to refresh and evolve over time, so there is always something new for gamers to play.

Some of the classic games coming to PlayStation Plus will show improved frame rates and higher quality resolution than its original launch versions. Additionally, select games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will include a new user experience with menus that allow players to save their game at any time, or even rewind the game to replay a specific section.

This month, journey into the breathtaking open world of Pandora in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, carve your own path through a war-torn 19th-century Japan in Rise of the Ronin, tackle raging infernos and rescue civilians in Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, or relive classic Saturday morning heroics in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind. All these titles and more are available in July’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup*. Meanwhile, two PS2 classics land into PlayStation Plus Premium: Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy.

As a reminder, we’re exploring new ways to deliver PlayStation Plus Game Catalog titles in select markets. Games will be available on varying dates as noted below in the US, the UK and Japan. The full lineup will be available to play on July 21 in all other regions.
