In Vale Sangora, somewhere in a forgotten corner of the Carpathian Mountains, vampires seize their opportunity to walk out of the shadows, overthrow the feudal lords and claim what they've been denied for centuries: freedom, and ultimate power that comes with it. Legends turn into reality, and history as we know it will never be the same.

You play as Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker, forever treading the line between the world of day and the realm of night. Use your skills and combine vampiric strength with human resolve as you take on a quest to save the ones you love. Face your foes – be they human, monster, or the ticking clock itself. But remember – the real evil may bask in the sun's light, and the most loyal of allies could lurk under the cover of night.

Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Rebel Wolves have unveiled a new trailer showcasing the game's main features. Set in the treacherous land of Vale Sangora, the game follows Coen who lives as a human by day and a vampire by night, blending action RPG gameplay with a unique dual nature at the heart of the story.

From characters to game mechanics, the trailer provides all players need to know. It begins by introducing the Vrakhiris, the vampire ruling over the region, giving players a closer look at their enemy before turning its focus to Coen, the game's protagonist. 

Players will get acquainted with using time as a resource as they have 30 days and 30 nights to save Coen’s family. While time doesn’t pass on its own from just exploring Vale Sangora, players will still have to keep an eye on the time segments spent when starting or advancing certain quests, reminding them that Coen’s family is still at the mercy of the vampires and they won’t have time to do everything. Moreover, the choices players make influence the story. In this way, they shape their own adventure and can choose their own path to the ultimate goal: the confrontation with Vampire Lord Brencis.

Finally, the trailer delves into the combat system, a central element of this adventure full of sharp blades and claws. The combat in The Blood of Dawnwalker can be adapted to different play styles. With the adaptive omniattack and omniblock systems, players can have Coen attack and block with the press of a button, while maintaining full control over the pace of the battles. Those seeking a more tactical experience can utilize the directional combat system, in which precision, timing, and agile execution are rewarded with perfectly timed parries and ripostes. Ultimately, the player decides how to engage in battle.Combat in The Blood of Dawnwalker can be tailored to different playstyles.
