Introducing IGNISPHERE, a New IP

As it celebrates its 15th anniversary this month, Monochrome has partnered with Good Smile Company to establish IGNISPHERE, a new IP and fictional universe.

IGNISPHERE is an entirely original, expansive world woven together by numerous nations and races. It is also the name of the game studio led by creator Takafumi Noma.

Noma has worked as a programmer on numerous successful games. As director of Unicorn Overlord, he was involved in every stage of development, including the story and character design. For IGNISPHERE, he aims to bring that hands-on approach to building a cohesive, immersive world.

Yoshimi Kudo will compose music for the game. The teaser video features a piece composed and arranged by Kudo, whose credits include Unicorn Overlord and Elden Ring. KOCHO, whose credits include vocals for the main theme of the television drama Unnatural, handled vocals and singer coordination.

Monochrome and Good Smile Company will work together to expand IGNISPHERE beyond games, including merchandise such as figures. Good Smile Company will serve as the point of contact for merchandising opportunities.

Multiple light novel projects set in IGNISPHERE are in development with KADOKAWA’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. Further details will be announced at a later date.

Dawngazer is planned for release in 2028 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam).
