Onimusha: Way Of The Sword takes place in Kyoto during the early Edo period. In this time of relative peace for Japan, Malice has befallen the ancient city. Twisted into an eerie and unsettling place, Kyoto has been infested by the demonic Genma.
Capcom announced that worldwide sales of Onimusha: Way of the Sword have surpassed 1 million units on the first day of its release.
Driven by the performance of this title, cumulative sales of the Onimusha™ series have now surpassed 10 million units.
Onimusha: Way Of The Sword is available for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
