When Microsoft released its New Xbox Experience Nov of last year one of the new/exclusive features allowed viewers to stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix in HD. Earlier this year a new engineering job listing indicated that Netflix won't be exclusive to the Xbox 360 for much longer, later on confirmed by CEO Reed Hastings.

Microsoft Revenue Tanks But Xbox Division Profits, Nearly 34 Million Units Sold

Microsoft released its quaterly financial results, revealing revenue of $12.92 billion, a 14% decline from the same period of the prior year. Operating income, net income and diluted earnings per share dropped 25%, 18% and 17%, respectively, when compared with the prior year period. However, its Entertainment and Devices division profits nearly doubled (from $159 million to $312 million), fueled by a 50% profit increase from Xbox Live and titles like Halo 3: ODST.
