Zipper Interactive's SOCOM games are tactical shooter titles with a third-person viewpoint and simplified controls/objectives setting it apart from other titles in the genre. It's been four years since SOCOM III, not counting last year's SOCOM Confrontation, and according to PCB Productions, a digital media content creation that also revealed Syphon Filter 5 earlier this year, it is currently assisting with the motion capture direction on SOCOM 4.

Shadow of Memories is a tale of choices and their affect on others, a cinematic mix of puzzle solving and exploration. You play as Eike, who is murdered and awakens to find himself in limbo, somewhere between life and what lies beyond. Eike will visit 1980, 1902 and medieval times and the methods he uses to avert his death will have a knock-on effect on those he meets. Konami is working on bringing the original PS2 (also on PC and Xbox) game to the PSP, scheduled for Oct. 2009, but only in Japan for now.

'Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising' (PSP) - 20 New Screens

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood transports players from a ravaged Civil War-era Georgia to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. In the wildest West ever depicted, players can embody both McCall brothers in an intense Wild West storyline full of greed, lust and lawlessness that takes place during a legendary period of American history. Techland revealed that it is working on three DLC packages, two multiplayer packs (4 new maps each) and a single-player pack with new missions, although no date or price was disclosed.

LucasArts has been pumping out quite a few Star Wars and Indiana Jones titles in the past few years, with Fracture as an exception, but with the recent Monkey Island announcements, it seems the once-adventure-focused publisher/developer is looking into reviving old classics. On Monday, LucasArts plans to announce something "amazing" and "awesome news for our old school fans." Nothing but teasing so far, but we'll have more for you after the weekend.

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces is the latest flight simulation game from Project Aces, the development team behind the Ace Combat series.
