In 2003, Ubisoft released its action/adventure Beyond Good & Evil, but sales numbers were disappointing, and the franchise was abandoned. Since the
UbiDays 08 teaser, not much has been said, apart from Ubisoft's Michel Ancel revealing that BG&E 2 will be more complex and immersive than the original.
In July, Ubi's Laurent Detoc said that, while the game was being worked on, the decision had not been made to actually green-light it. Last week, sources claimed the title had been
put on hold, but according to Ubisoft France, this is
not the case.
