Empire: Total War will maintain the series 3D battles, grand turn based campaign map and rich historical flavor while for the first time introducing 3D naval combat into the series. The Creative Assembly revealed that it will be introducing 11 new units to E:TW. The Russian Grenadiers, great for assaults and their grenades pack a mighty punch, will be brand new, while others will get revamped hoping to increase the graphical and unit variety of several factions rosters, as well as improving balance.

Japanese Devs Shun E3 Because of Swine Flu

While the swine flu, also known as H1N1, hasn't exactly turned out into the epidemic initially feared, it has been spreading and making victims all across North America. While the E3 organization issued a statement last month that the summit was not going to be affected, that was not taking into account Japanese developers who are being cautioned by their government about overseas travel. As such Capcom, KOEI and Square Enix have announced their Japanese staffers will not be present at the exhibition.

'Red Faction: Guerrilla' (ALL) Confirms PC Delay

Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, this third-person, open-world action-shooter will return to Mars and once again redefine the limits of destruction-based gameplay. The multiplayer demo features ten-player Damage Control mode. While the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions are due in stores next week, THQ confirmed that the PC version is scheduled for this summer.
