Lighthouse Interactive Goes Bankrupt

Lighthouse Interactive, known for titles such as Ship Simulator and Sword of the Stars, has been shut down, according to Dutch newspaper Het Parool. All personnel have been notified, and according to the curator, the business will not continue. The writing was on the wall recently, when Rhiannon rights reverted to the developers, and Paradox picked up East India Company. Lighthouse was formed in 2005 and did well for a few years, but last year's sale to Silverbirch turned out to be a bad move, as the parent company got into financial trouble and its shares were put on hold at the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Zombie Studios No Longer Developing 'Rogue Warrior' (ALL), Update Coming Soon

Last week Zombie Studios announced it was working on Blacklight, an Unreal-engine powered covert military action game, which then begged the question, what happened to Bethesda's Rogue Warrior? Zombie Studios confirmed that it is no longer working on the story-driven tactical FPS and has not been for a while, but declined to comment on whether the game was canceled. We contacted Bethesda, who confirmed that Rogue Warrior is still in development, obviously by another team, and that an update on the status of the game is coming soon.
