While details are still slim, Rogue Galaxy and Dark Cloud developer Level 5 is working on an all-new PS3 exclusive fantasy turn-based strategy/RPG, White Knight Story. Currently scheduled for release in Japan late December, it is said to be playable at next month's Tokyo Games Show.

The Baldur's Gate series are still considered by many some of the best RPG games around, developed by Bioware, but hasn't been heard of since 2001's Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. At some point Black Isle Studios was said to be working on a 3rd installment until it went belly up, after which several key members went on to form Obsidian Entertainment, who took over the Neverwinter Nights franchise from Bioware.
Rumor has it that a "more than capable" developer is working on BG 3, tentatively scheduled for late 2009, and while Atari declined to comment, it did confirm it holds the license.

After TECMO turned down a friendly take over offer from Square Enix it revealed early plans to join up with KOEI instead, and has now issued
